TBS is a major national broadcasting station in Japan. It’s Japan’s equivalent of Korea’s KBS, SBS or MBC. It’s quite an accomplishment for a Korean drama to be aired on a major network as most end up in cable channels.
Previously in November 2011, Japan’s cable channels DATV and KNTV both began broadcasting Protect the Boss simultaneously which is already an exceptional feat. TBS would be the third Japanese network to air this drama.

MBC has made the decision to continue broadcasting ‘We Got Married’.
A representative from MBC informed Newsen on June 5th, “The filming of ‘We Got Married’ will be carried out by MBC employees. Because of ongoing strike, the head PDs will now become invested in directing the show.”
As for the couples, the representative revealed, “We will be keeping the original couples, Lee Jang Woo-Ham Eunjung, and Leeteuk-Kang Sora.”
According to MBC, ‘We Got Married’ will return to regular broadcasting starting June 16th. The schedule for filming has not been set yet because of the complex scheduling arrangements of all party, but MBC expects to have it settled soon.

On the 5th of June, SM Town's official facebook account was updated with a lovely selca from the ever adorable Sull of f(x). Along with the photo, she shared, "Hello, This is Sulli of f(x). The June 5th episode of KBS ‘Win Win’ broadcasted the 2nd part of last week’s special episode featuring singer BoA.
During filming, BoA spoke up about her special relationship with SM Entertainment chairman, Lee Soo Man, who has recruited her and has been through every step of her growth process.
BoA remarked, My feelings towards Lee Soo Man is very special because I was there ever since the agency was first founded and we’ve also been through a lot when I made my debut in the international market. I’m Lee Soo Man’s #1.”
She added, “I call him Teacher Lee Soo Man in public, but when it’s just the two of us I call him ‘Ssam’ (A slang for teacher) or ‘Soo Man Ajji’ (A slang for ahjussi). Kangta and I are the only people within the company who can call him like that.”

Has Jang Geun Suk finally met his ideal girl? Perhaps it is so. On the 6th of June, Actor and Singer Jang Geun Suk updated his twitter account and shared, "My type is also in Shinjuku" and shared a photo of him looking at several adds on a building in Shinjuku, Japan.
It looks like Jang Geun Suk became interested in the flyers posted on the building and the girls on the flyers are his type causing much laughter from fans. Expectations for Kim Hyun Joong’s upcoming sophomore Japanese single are heating up!
Kim Hyun Joong will be releasing his second Japanese single ‘HEAT’ on July 4th. The single contains a total of two songs including the title track “HEAT” and “Let’s Party”. Turning away from his gentle image with his last album, Kim Hyun Joong will make a fierce transformation, displaying a more manly and charismatic side.
As previously reported, his upcoming title track is already drawing interest as “HEAT” is the work of beloved Japanese rock band, B’z. It is reportedly a song with exciting rhythm and addictive lyrics.
To commemorate the release of his second single album, Kim Hyun Joong will be holding a live stage at the Saitama Super Arena on July 14th and 15th. In particular, the July 14th concert titled “Double Fantasista ‘Great Assist’” will be in collaboration with Japanese popular musician Naoto Inti Raymi.
