Shortly before his official comeback, Park Jin Young (JYP) has pre-released “Someone Else”, a duet song with Brown Eyed Girls member Ga-In. The collaboration track serves as the introduction for his upcoming first single “You’re The One”.
In addition to his teaser posters and enormous wrapping promotion, JYP unveiled new video teaser for “You’re The One”. On April 25th, JYP released the video teaser via its official Youtube channel. Though the new teaser shows the same eye candies, it gives fans a snippet of the melody for “You’re The One”.
“You’re The One” will be included on JYP’s album “Spring 5 Songs For A New Love” which will be released on the midnight of April 29th.

Hallyu group Super Junior previously revealed that they will be releasing a Japanese version of “Opera”. After releasing a preview of the PV earlier this month, the boys released a short version music video for their upcoming single.
“Opera” is included to Super Junior’s latest Korean full length album “Mr. Simple.” The single will be in Japanese version and will as well include original Japanese song “Way”, which is their second original song after “Snow White.”
Ahead of the official debut of Girls’ Generation first unit TaeTiSeo, a teaser video of member Taeyeon for their debut mini album “Twinkle” has been unveiled.

After releasing series of image teasers and couple of music video trailers over the past few days, the power rookie B.A.P has just unveiled new set of teaser photos for their comeback single “Power.” Following the first set featuring Bang Yongguk and Himchan, photos of Zelo and Daehyun have been unveiled.
The newly-released teaser gave off a clearer look on the boys’ new concept. The boys both ditched their blonde hair, with Zelo donning pinkish hairstyle and Daehyun with brown.
B.A.P will be releasing their second single “Power” on April 27th. The new single will feature their trademark urban style and powerful choreography.

Lee Hwan Hee aka ‘Fwaney’, who is known being Girls’ Generation Seohyun’s best friend during their SM Entertainment trainee days, finally made her solo debut!
Earlier today, Fwaney released her medium-tempo debut single “Secret” on various music websites. In addition, the full music video for the track has been unveiled.
“Secret” was composed by Hwang Jae Woong and tells about the story of a shy girl who tries to express her feelings of love. While the music video has been directed by Park Byung Hwan, who is responsible for filming numerous music videos for many singers and idols.
According to her agency, Worthy Entertainment, “Fwaney will make her debut in the industry as a solo artist but in the future, we have plans to include her as part of a group.”

After their successful comeback promotions in South Korea, the boys of SHINee will be releasing their latest hit single “Sherlock” in Japan. Ahead of its official release, SHINee unveiled the full music video for Japanese version of “Sherlock.”
On April 25th, SHINee released the music video via EMI Music Japan’s official Youtube channel. The Japanese music video does not differ much from its original Korean counterpart and also features Girls' Generation's Jessica.
“Sherlock” Japanese version will be released on May 16th. The single will also include a Japanese original song called “Keeping Love Again” as its coupling track and will be available in 3 different versions.

22 April (Sunday), at Stellar Ball in Shinagawa, Tokyo, 2AM held an event to commemorate the release of their 2nd single 'You Wouldn't Answer My Calls', a single day four-session special event for the purchasers of the CD.
In the four open sessions, the first was a 'Q&A Session', the second 'Quiz Session', third a 'Lucky Draw' and fourth, a 'Singing Session', all sessions comprising different contents. At the first session, the 'Q&A Session', the members were hit with questions gathered previously and with questions on that day from participants. From questions such as ‘What is your favourite food in Japan?’ and answers like ‘Dried potato’ (Jinwoon) ‘Monjayaki’ (Jokwon) ‘Cold udon’ (Changmin), ‘Tonkotsu ramen’ (Seulong), the answers that were given showed their individuality.
At the second session, a ‘Two-Choose-One Quiz Session’ was held for the attendants to participate in. Basic questions such as the members’ birthdates, questions regarding the new single and difficult questions about each of the members were extensively used. The crowd was roused by the plan where the winner would be able to go on stage and take a Polaroid picture with the members.
Continuing was the third session of the ‘Lucky Draw’. At this session, the signed goods of the larger-than-life members were to be presented as prizes. When the winning numbers were announced, there were shouts of excitement and disappointment from within the venue. The last session was the ‘Singing Session’, termed a Mini Live. The four members with singing abilities worthy of being hailed as Princes of Ballad used their beautiful voices and exquisite harmonies to envelope the entire audience.
As at every session, the members carried out their individual method of bidding farewell to their fans and prepared well to ensure that each fan had fun even to the end of the end. The day was brought to a close successfully with 6000 attendants at the special event across the 4 sessions.
From 30 June (Saturday) onwards, 2PM + 2AM ‘One Day’s first documentary movie ‘Beyond the ONE DAY ~Story of 2PM & 2AM’ will be promoted at road shows throughout the country by TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills.

On April 22nd, the photo was uploaded on an online community board under the title “Didn’t SISTAR say they were on a diet?” The photo shows SISTAR members seated in a cafeteria and busily inhaling foods including noodles, hamburgers, hotdogs and more.

“The Equator Man” sequel drama, “Bridal Mask” on the KBS 2TV has resumed its filming a week after the bus falling accident.
TV Report reported that the shoot resumed on the 24th at Paju, Kyeonggido. A staff claimed, “Along with the grieving for the one who passed away, we thought it was only right that we resume shooting and create a great drama.”
The accident occurred in the early-morning hours of April 18th, involving the broadcast station bus that was heading to the filming location. The bus which was supporting actors and other staffs fell over the field, killing one and seriously injured 30 others. It has been reported that the brakes were ruptured and couldn't stop before the fall.
Meanwhile, “Bridal Mask” is based on Heo Young Man’s original back in 1974 about the Japanese colonization in the 1930s. The main actor Lee Kangto (Joo Won) who was an expert in martial arts stood up against the Japanese. The drama will be aired after “The Equator Man” on the 30th as a 24-part series.

Actor Song Seung Hun revealed the script of “Time Slip Dr. Jin”.
On April 23rd, Song Seung Hun published on his me2day account, exposing the script of the drama series “Time Slip Dr. Jin”, and left a very short message, “For the sake of Dr. Jin.”
“Time Slip Dr. Jin” which succeeds Feast of the Gods is debuting with episode 1 on May 26th, 2012. Song Seung Hun is in preparation for the shooting.
The drama is adapted from the famous Japanese manga. The male actors starring in the drama include Song Seung Hun, Kim Jaejoong, Lee Bum Soo, while female actresses starring in the drama include Park Min Young and Kim So Yeon.

Lee Hwan Hee, who is known being Girls’ Generation Seohyun’s best friend during their SM Entertainment trainee days, finally made her solo debut!
Introducing herself as ‘Fwany’, Lee Hwan Hee has just released her medium-tempo debut single “Secret” on various music websites.
According to her agency, Worthy Entertainment, “Lee Hwan Hee will make her debut in the industry as a solo artist but in the future, we have plans to include her as part of a group. ”
Idol group U-KISS will return on the 25th with their 6th mini-album ‘DORADORA’.
They are immediately welcomed. While spending six months in Japan, they have had several notable accomplishments. Their first Japanese album, ‘A Shared Dream’, and single ‘Forbidden Love’ have ranked 2nd and 5th on the Oricon charts respectively.
Also, U-KISS has held 11 concerts in a total of six cities across Japan, including Osaka, Fukuoka, Tokyo. In July, they will tour again in an additional nine cities. According to AVEX, U-KISS is scheduled to perform at Tokyo Dome next March.
Their popularity in Japan has sky rocketed. Their manager proudly stated, “When U-KISS first entered the Japanese market last year, they didn’t have any bodyguards, but now they have 3-4”. From Tokyo to Harajuku to Shibuya, there isn’t a place without “U-KISS pastry”. They have also filmed three CFs.
Just as nervous as U-KISS, their manager passionately stated, “They’re still considered as rookies (in Korea). We’re proud that U-KISS has found amazing opportunities in Japan, although it’s harder in Korea. Rather than saying our status has changed, I would say that they are very happy to be able to sincerely feel the support from their fans.”
“Gritted our teeth with determination for four years”
There’s a lot more to consider than just plain determination. It is because they must observe the Korean music industry much more closely than the Japanese industry.
U-KISS stated, “(We) Have reached a milestone in our four years of activities. Saying it’s not a burden would be a lie,” and “For this comeback we are absolutely determined to succeed. We’ve gritted our teeth to get ourselves on the right track”.
U-KISS has debuted at the same period of time as 2PM and SHINee. Although it’s uncomfortable, they know it can’t helped being compared to these two groups. 2PM and SHINee have both already stood in the spotlight, but U-KISS’ greatest achievement has only been their song ‘ManManHaNi’ entering SBS Inkigayo’s ‘Take 7’.
U-KISS confesses, “Honestly, we have many regrets like ‘we should have worked harder’. Standing in the confetti and looking over at the winners bearing the trophy for first place, we wish that we can also have the experience of being the winners”.
They added, “Technically speaking, we’re sunbae to 2PM by one week. But even our hubae idols such as BEAST, Teen Top and Infinite have also surpassed us. We admit that”. They have also expressed that it is okay they are steadily climbing up to the top as it does not happen often, ending comparisons with other idols.
U-KISS stated, “Right now we’re not envious of 2PM or SHINee, and we do, of course, want to win first place on a music program with ‘DORADORA’, but we would appreciate it just as much if the public would also take the time to listen to the rest of the songs on the album”.

The main actors of MBC’s new weekend drama ‘Dr.Jin’ are at war of screen-time.After ‘Feast of the Gods’, ‘Dr.Jin’ will have its first airing on May 26th. In the original Japanese manga, Song Seunghun’s character leads the drama alone but in ‘Dr.Jin’, Kim Jaejoong and Lee Bumsoo’s characters are more interesting. Kim Jaejoong will play Kim Kyungtak, a naval officer of Joseon Dynasty and Lee Bumsoo will play Lee Haeung, a soldier of fortune who is known as Heungseon Daewongun.The drama will have more various characters than the original but the problem is that all the three male leads were even ‘one-top’ in other drama (one-top: actor/actress who take the leading role, who is responsible for the overall flow of the drama/movie), it’s not easy to regulate the screen-time. In addition, Park Minyoung will also play a dual role, which makes the screen-time war become fiercer.An official explained, “Normally, if a drama has four male and female leading roles, only two of them are highlighted but in ‘Dr.Jin’, all four roles are equally important.This is an invisible fight for the actors in order to highlight their characters. We can’t focus on just one of them."Another related person said, “Park Minyoung, Song Seunghun and Kim Jaejoong will form a triangle love.
