The Wonder Girls rapper Yubin awed the crowd with her ‘appropriate’ opening pitch in a baseball game.

On May 27th, Yubin attended the ‘2012 Paldo Pro Baseball’ to throw the opening pitch for a baseball game between Doosan Bears and Lotte Giants. The Wonder Girls member showed up the field sporting Doosan Bear team uniform from head to toe.

Unlike Girls Generation’s Jessica who made headlines for her embarrassing pitch, Yubin carried herself confidently and successfully threw the ball in the hands of the catcher. She impressed the crowd with her throw pose and good pitch.


Super Junior‘s Ryeowook discussed his chubbier past in the recent episode of MBC’s ‘Come to Play’ aired on May 28th.

During the show, Ryeowook shared, “I was a bit chubby when I was young. I weighted a lot like around 181 lbs (82kg). During the holiday when I was eating BBQ, my family told me ‘You should stop eating.’”

Ryeowook also shared his past photos and commented, “I guess I did eat a lot”, giving a bashful smile.

After viewing these photos, viewers commented, “Wow! He looks really different from now!”, “He’s unrecognizable” and “That’s really Ryeowook?”


MBC’s ‘Weekly Idol’ MCs Jung Hyung Don and Defconn formed a new duo and released their special collaboration single “Olympic Expressway”. The music video and track was released on May 29th and also features MC Nal Yoo.

The two friends formed a group called ‘Hyung Don and Dae Joon’ (Dae Joon is Defconn’s Korean name) and will have their debut performance through the duo’s own show ‘Weekly Idol’ on May 30th.


After displaying his acting skills on ‘Love Rain’, singer and actor Seo In Guk showcased his composing skills and released his first self-composed song “Fate (Like a Fool)” for the drama OST.

“Fate (Like a Fool)” is described as a ballad that brings about sorrowful feelings and features Seo In Guk’s distinctive voice. The track was released on May 29th, as part of Love Rain’s OST Part 2.


After pre-releasing their single “Never Let Go” featuring KARA’s Goo Hara, A-JAX is gearing up for official debut and released new music video teaser for “One 4 U”.

As their name implies, which refers to the mythological Greek hero of the Trojan War, A-JAX’s new music video teaser features a mythological theme incorporated with explosive choreography.

Meanwhile, A-JAX recently stood as the opening act for senior labelmates KARA’s ‘KARASIA’ concert in Saitama, Japan. The group is also invited in the upcoming ‘a-nation musicweek’ in Japan.


Rookie group MYNAME will be making their comeback this coming June. After releasing their first music video teaser and individual teaser images of the members, the boys unveiled second music video teaser for comeback song “Hello & Goodbye”.

MYNAME became a hot topic from being produced by singer Hwanhee. The group entered the pop industry in October 2011 with their first title song “Message” and gained recognition with their outstanding looks and high quality power vocals.
