Woo, this movie looks awesome, from the teaser posters to the trailer to the spot-on casting. Miss Go is the new action-comedy movie starring Go Hyun-jung (I see that the English title is Miss Conspirator, but honestly I think Miss Go is perfect as it is) playing a wallflower-turned-badass, in what looks to be a fun, zippy ride.

The premise is this: Go Hyun-jung plays an ordinary woman who accidentally becomes witness to a crime by Korea’s top crime organization, and to save herself she transforms herself into a top criminal to join the pack. You can imagine the foibles that occur in the name of whipping her clumsy, mousy self into kickass fighting shape. At stake is a 50 billion won ($ 40 million) scheme, which is a huge enough sum to make Go Hyun-jung pass out in the trailer. Heh.

The baddies are played by an all-star lineup of actors: “suspicious cop” Sung Dong-il (Chuno, The Client), crime boss millionaire Park Shin-yang (Sign), “the spy who loves her” Yoo Hae-jin (The Unjust, Moss), drug trafficker Lee Moon-shik (The Duo, Giant), and Go Chang-seok (Quick, The Front Line). Lee Won-jong (Wild Romance) plays a quirky psychologist. All in all, that’s quite a mix of scene-stealers and premium supporting actors.

The poster above lists the men actors’ names, then ends with the copy “You all… messed with the wrong person.” The tagline below that reads, “An accidental crime queen.” Haha. But more than anything, I’m digging the cool, mod poster below, which is simple, stylish, and eye-catching. Go Miss Go!

Miss Go releases in June.
