Recently, a story of SNSD''s Taeyeon being rejected as blood donor has resurfaced and became a hot topic among netizens again. Last year, precisely September 17, 2011 on the KBS program "Love Request", Taeyeon wanted to be a blood donor and met up with a doctor for the blood donation.

However, she was rejected because Taeyeon was underweight. The doctor explained that to be a blood donor, you have to be on the age between 16 years old to 65 years old and you have to alteast have a weight of 50 kg for Men and 45 kg for women, and unfortunately, Taeyeon weighed less that 45 kg. 45 kg is around 99 lbs when converted. Netizens commented, "Thats too bad, so that means IU also cannot donate blood", "So they do have rules to follow, im glad they do not just let anybody donate blood voluntarily", "She's so light, she needs to eat more".

ZE:A's leader Moon Jun Young has recently suffered from an ankle injury. ZE:A's agency Star Empire recently revealed on the 30th of May saying, "Moon Jun Young has recently got injured during a shooting, and he is currently receiving treatment for his injury. His injury is a bit serious and especially since it is at a part that is critical we are afraid that their comeback will be postponed".

The boy group ZE:A is scheduled for a comeback this June 21 and if things do not go smoothly with their leader's treatment, their comeback has to be inevitably postponed to a later date. ZE:A's agency said that they cannot risk Jun Young to push through with the schedule with his injury and they will wait until he has fully recovered. His agency is currently revising their plan and schedules and they will soon confirm the comeback date and schedule of the group. An official said that they are sorry for ZE:A's fans that they have to wait a little longer because they want everything to be smooth and perfect for the group's comeback.

A Pink’s Son Naeun revealed her emotional distress due to her ligament injury.

A Pink recently made their comeback with “Hush” at the beginning of May, and member Naeun suffered from ligament injury just before their comeback. She injured the same area where the singer was hurt right before the group’s debut. With their comeback just around the corner, Naeun felt the stress both mentally and physically. Particularly, when the doctors stated that Naeun’s ligaments had gone weak that has left her with an uncertain future in singing career.

In a recent interview, Naeun revealed, “I’ve been injured there before so I think it will quickly recover. The hospital said that my ligament is very weak and in very critical condition. The injury hurt, but I felt really sorry to the other members with just two weeks before our comeback.”

She continued, “In the end, we had to push back our comeback by two weeks because of me. During the filming of music video, I had to wear bandages so I wasn’t able to perform properly.”

The other members said, Naeun has suffered intense emotional distress. Not only she was injured physically, but she also having emotional distress. We were so worried when we saw her in the apartment crying by herself.”

Naeun ended the interview saying, “I have recovered. The members are helping me a lot. There’s no problem going up on stage, but I’m being more careful so the injury does not reoccur.”

Singer IU revealed that she unknowingly gave T-ara’s Jiyeon a fake branded bag.

On the May 29th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart’, IU said, “There was a fashion style recently that became an issue at the airport. It was that I was holding a branded backpack. I only knew that was a branded bag after I read the article.”

She continued, “I went to Dongdaemoon and bought two of the same bags, I gave one to T-ara’s Jiyeon for her birthday present and I used the other one. However, I found out later that the bag I gave to her was just imitation”, causing the entire crew to burst into laughter.

After pre-releasing their single “Never Let Go” featuring KARA’s Goo Hara, A-JAX is gearing up for official debut with first title track “One 4 U”. The upcoming music video for “One 4 U” is currently gaining attention as they’ve spent quite high amount of money into it.

On May 30th, DSP Media revealed that they spent nearly $ 42,500 USD on computer graphics effects alone. This amount of money is about the cost of producing a whole music video, but A-JAX has dropped that amount to utilizes a lot of fantasy elements in video.

Meanwhile, A-JAX’s debut single “One 4 U” will be revealed online June 1.


The Wonder Girls are gearing up for their comeback with new mini-album “Wonder Party” in June. In addition to the series of teaser images and the teaser making-of video for title track “Like This”, the girls revealed the full tracklist for the album.

The mini-album will feature a total of six tracks. Five of which are brand new songs and the previously released English single “The DJ is Mine.” The new songs include the title track “Like This” as well as “R.E.A.L”, “Hey Boy”, “Girlfriend” and “Sorry”.

“Wonder Party” will be released on June 3. In the meantime, check out the making of “Like This” teaser below!
