The 2012 mega-hit movie, “Introduction to Architecture”, has leaped the peak of 4 million.

According to the Korean Films Commission, “Introduction to Architecture” recorded an accumulated number of 4,007,776 audiences in over 223 theaters.

Standing in tenth place of the Box Office after “The Avengers", “Dark Shadow”, “Eunkyo” and “Korea”, “Introduction to Architecture” broke through 4 million in two months.

The movie with the highest number of views so far had been “Our Happy Time” starring Kang Dong-won and Lee Na-yeong in 2006. It was 3.13 million then and topped ranking all Korean mellow movies. “Introduction to Architecture” broke that and it keeps on going until now.

“Introduction to Architecture” is a traditional mellow movie about first love. Unlike the usual prejudice of being boring and tedious, “Introduction to Architecture” broke it and achieved success as well as good quality image.
