So Young has been confirmed for appearances in the new MBC TV variety show ‘Jewelry House’.


‘Jewelry House’ will also star Leeteuk from Super Junior as one of the hosts. This show is scheduled to begin recording early next month.


More information about the show will be revealed in upcoming weeks.



On April 26th the 2012 Jeonju International Film Festival was held.


So Young who recently starred in the popular drama ‘Dream High 2′ was in attendance.


When So Young arrived on the red carpet wearing a dazzling red mini dress she received a lot of attention. After the event she uploaded three new selcas onto her twitter account expressing her excitement about attending the film festival. So Young revealed this was her first time attending the annual Jeonju International Film Festival and that  ”next year, promoting as an ambassador I’d like to participate” expressing her happiness from the event.


So Young’s image on the red carpet is a bit different from her usual attire and from any character she has played in a drama. After presenting an “innocent” charm in the past the change in attire which shows off her glamorous body brought a lot of attention from both fans and Netizens. Her dress was even highlighted several times as one of the most fashionable at the film festival along with other well known actresses.





Official pictures from the event became a hot topic online and after So Young posted her selcas they were uploaded to many online community boards.Netizens left many comments including “Beautiful“, “I hope you succeed as an actress!“, “Fighting So Young Unni!“, “Your body is really beautiful” and “You have a nice shape, I did not know” among a variety of other reactions.
