An exhibition covering the history of manufactured girl bands in Korea will be held from May 4 to June 17 at the Bupyeong Arts Center in Incheon. Rare items such as concert leaflets of the Jeogori Sisters from the 1940’s will be displayed.

Over 600 exhibits include albums, pictures, and posters from the Kim Sisters in the 1950’s to the Wonder Girls and Girls’ Generation in the present to give visitors a grand overview of the phenomenon.

Choi Kyu Sung, a pop critic who organized this exhibition, said, “People will be able to gather what the public wanted in each period, and how it has changed.”
