After debuting at #1 on Oricon Daily Chart, actor and singer Jang Geun Suk’s first Japanese studio album ‘Just Crazy’ is unstoppable on the sales, hitting the top of Oricon Weekly Chart.

According to Jang Geun Suk’s agency Tree J Company on the 5th, Jang Geun Suk’s first full album in Japan ‘Just Crazy’ has ranked #1 on the Oricon Weekly Chart. In its first week alone, the album sold 88,000 copies, which has secured itself a spot at the top of the chart.

Since Moriyama Naotaro, Jang Geun Suk is the first male solo artist to top the chart with a debut album in eight years and the first foreign male solo artist to rank number one with a debut album ever.

Jang Geun Suk was placed #1 on the Oricon Daily Chart and as well as the Weekly Chart with his first single ‘Let Me Cry’ in April of 2011. This means that both his first single and studio albums ranked at the top of the daily and weekly charts. accomplished by Uchida Yuki in 1994 and 1995, making Jang Geun Suk the first in nearly 17 years and four months.
