2PM’s Wooyoung and 2AM’s Jo Kwon will be releasing solo albums and will likely be going head-to-head this June.

Wooyoung’s solo debut rumor has been circulating among fans since the beginning of the year. He already hinted with his tweet, “We will soon shock the world,” with a photo of him working in a studio with Junsu.

Wooyoung will be the second member of 2PM to have a solo debut after Junsu released his solo debut track, “Alive” last October. A representative from JYP Entertainment said, “We’ve received a diverse range of songs and are currently contemplating which one we will make the title song.”

2AM’s Jo Kwon has already released his debut solo track “The Day of Confession” during the beginning of July 2010. The song was based on his on-screen relationship with the Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In for MBC’s “We Got Married Season 2”. His first solo album next month will mark his first solo release in 23 months.
